Entry Requirements

These programmes are offered to students who score a minimum B in all their Higher School Certificate subjects. As it involves a broad multi-disciplinary programs, students can choose from a wide variety of course combinations. The GPA required for admission to the course is 2.5 or better.

School Leavers

The current grade 12 students who wish to apply to the Port Moresby Business College can apply through the DHERST National Online Selection System. All School leavers will apply through the DHERST National Online Selection System and only the successful candidates will be selected to enroll at POMBC, based on your academic performances.

Non-School Leavers

These are for intending non-school leavers who wish to apply to the Port Moresby Business College, are required to apply online through the online portal or fill in application form manually and submit at the reception. All Non-School leavers applications received will be screened and only successful candidates will be short-listed. Acceptance and admissions into your preferred programme of study will depend entirely on your academic performance and availability of spaces.

School Leavers

The Diploma programme is designed to equip students with practical and theoretical skills required for entry-level professional employment or further academic study. It typically represents a PNG NQF Level 5 qualification, bridging foundational knowledge and advanced technical competencies. Graduates are prepared to work independently in their field with a strong understanding of industry standards and workplace expectations.
