The POMBC Alumni network brings together past graduates who continue to uphold the values and legacy of Port Moresby Business College in their workplaces and communities. The alumni community serves as an important link between the college and the professional world, fostering mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong connections. Through ongoing engagement, alumni contribute to the growth of current students, support college initiatives, and remain valued ambassadors of POMBC.

The mission of POMBC Alumni is to be a resource for alumni, offering networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, while also serving as a bridge between the college and its alumni community.

Objectives

To bring the graduates and former students of Port Moresby Business College under one vibrant forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge, and to develop a strong network amongst themselves for bonding, fellowship, and career advancement.
To establish a forum to preserve the memories, associations, and traditions of the college.
To establish continuity by serving as a vital link between the past and the present, students, staff, and members of the college’s management.
To maintain a database containing information such as name, permanent address, mobile number, mailing address, years of study, qualifications,, and present occupation of members of the Alumni.
To encourage, foster, and promote a close relationship between Port Moresby Business College and its Alumni for the growth of the college in the areas of industry interaction, admissions, internships, and placements.
To make optimum use of alumni expertise to conduct Alumni – student knowledge exchange programmes like professional lectures, training programmes, conferences, etc.
To organize and promote get-togethers, sports, cultural activities, and competitions.
To help and encourage outstanding alumni to pursue higher studies.
To enlist the interest and services of alumni in strengthening and improving the infrastructure of the college.
To set up a POMBC Alumni Scholarship Fund for offering scholarships to meritorious students.
To receive/raise/collect donations, funds, and other receipts for fulfilling the aims and objectives of the Alumni, to utilize such funds in such manner as the Executive Committee may consider necessary.
To do all such acts and deeds and things as are incidental to and as the Alumni deems appropriate in attainment of its aims and objectives.
