“Welcome to the Information Technology Department of Port Moresby Business College!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to a department that is focused on building the next generation of technology and business professionals for Papua New Guinea.

We currently offer the Diploma in Business Studies (Computing) Programme. To keep pace with the digital world, we have revised our curriculum to include emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Content Management Systems. Our goal is to ensure our graduates are not only job-ready, but future-ready.

The IT Department is registered with the PNG Digital ICT Cluster as collaborator and network hub in the Digital ICT industry space. Further, we have established academic pathways with IBSU for the Bachelor of Information Technology. This means your journey with us can continue all the way to a degree.

What sets us apart is our people. Our Department is supported by experienced and highly qualified lecturers with backgrounds in both teaching and industry. They bring real workplace knowledge into the classroom, so you learn skills that employers are looking for today.

Whether you are starting your career, upgrading your skills, or planning to go further in IT, you will find a supportive, practical, and industry-focused learning environment here.

I invite you to join us and be part of shaping PNG’s digital future.
