“Welcome to the Information Technology Department of Port Moresby Business College!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to a department that is focused on building the next generation of technology and business professionals for Papua New Guinea.
We currently offer the Diploma in Business Studies (Computing) Programme. To keep pace with the digital world, we have revised our curriculum to include emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Content Management Systems. Our goal is to ensure our graduates are not only job-ready, but future-ready.
The IT Department is registered with the PNG Digital ICT Cluster as collaborator and network hub in the Digital ICT industry space. Further, we have established academic pathways with IBSU for the Bachelor of Information Technology. This means your journey with us can continue all the way to a degree.

Diploma in Information Technology is a comprehensive course package designed to give students broad but secure foundation in the field of computing and information technology. Students will be able to recognize the major trends in information technology employment and how a career path can be planned through achieving further studies.
Award:
- Diploma in Business Studies (Information Technology) after completing year two
Partway:
- Bachelors in Information Technology at IBSU and other universities depending on their programme alignments.
- Formal employment within the IT industries, corporate sectors, and public sectors.
